Finally embracing my passion and learning what feeds my soul was not an overnight process. Through finding the best avenue to utilize my skill at connecting others, I discovered a valuable lesson.

As I clicked to end the call,I felt excitement flow through me as I dialed the next number. As the Director of Member Services with the National Association of Women Business Owners(NAWBO), I can fully immerse myself in my passion –connecting others.

I have been a connector of others all my life, and friendships have played a crucial role. From a young age, I placed special importance on my relationships. As the middle child of seven daughters, I always wanted to strengthen my connections with those around me, though it took me a while to recognize this passion.

After a successful 25-year-long career in health care,I felt compelled to do something different. By then, I had evolved into a different person than the young woman I had been when I first started studying healthcare administration.

I started out all those years ago to create a successful life of my own design. While I was growing up, my family did not have much, and I worked hard for what I wanted from the age of 14. I put myself through college to earn my associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree and finally achieved my dream of getting myMaster of Business Administration. as well.

However, even when I received my degrees, I was consumed by the question,“What next?” Only when facing personal challenges during a tough time in my life did I move beyond the mindset of“I’ll be happy when...” For most of my life, I looked outward to do more, accomplish more and be more. Only in the hardest moments did I look inward and recognize the reality that I was already enough. We all are.

With that tipping point, my life shifted. I focused on what I was happy for in each moment rather than when I could allow myself to be“happy.”The relationships in my life continue to top that list each day. Since then, I have continued to set goals, though I allow myself to enjoy the journey more.

In 2014,I left health care for real estate because I realized it was the perfect opportunity to embrace my passion for connecting others. Between my real estate career and involvement in NAWBO,I have been able to form connections between small businesses, other women entrepreneurs and my clients. I look at the world as an interlocking system of webs and enjoy finding the places where each one intersects another.

Though I am always learning and improving, it is beside the point. If I could go back in time and tell myself one thing, it would be, “You are enough.” It is easy to lose sight of that, but that one shift of perspective makes all the difference. We can become unstoppable through embracing ourselves, loving ourselves for who we are in the moment, and recognizing the unique gifts we can offer others.

As a REALTOR®, I embrace my strength for forming relationships, and I find my drive in saving my clients from the struggles I went through. My husband and I had a terrible experience working with a REALTOR® when we moved to San Antonio in 2009. Even though the market was recovering, our interests were not well represented, and we lost a significant amount of money in the process.

Whenever I am not working, my husband and I enjoy traveling, hiking, entertaining friends, and Reformer Pilates. My favorite part of being a REALTOR® is getting to know my clients’ needs and how I can service them.

I will make sure you are well taken care of throughout this process. My highest priority is to understand your real estate needs, your short-term and long-term goals, and what you want out of life. That way I can offer you every option available so you can find the best solution to fit you. Sometimes that means waiting for the right moment. No matter what, I will always present you with all the pros and cons of every solution available, even if that means you decide not to buy or sell.

With my unique background, I have a special understanding of those going through transitions, especially elderly homeowners. The details matter, so I pay attention to each one, including environmental safety, HOA bylaws and city laws.

I have extensive experience in estate sales, residential, commercial, and investment real estate (including Airbnb and long-term rentals). I am always learning the latest strategies and tools to help my clients stand out. As the years go by, I will continue to grow along with your real estate needs as your lifelong REALTOR®.

Sincerely,

Cynthia Parsons
