Finally embracing my passion and learning what feeds my soul was not an overnight process. Through finding the best avenue to utilize my skill at connecting others, I discovered a valuable lesson.
One call—that’s all it took. A friend was overwhelmed trying to sell land in another state, unsure who to trust. I tapped into my referral network and connected her with an agent who handled everything with integrity, saving her $40,000 in commission. That one connection made a world of difference and reminded me why I love real estate: it allows me to connect people with opportunities and each other.
I’ve been a connector of people all my life. As the middle child of seven daughters, I always valued relationships and sought to strengthen the ones around me—even before I understood that connection was my calling.
Growing up, my family didn’t have much, so I worked hard, putting myself through college to earn my associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree and finally achieved my dream of getting my Master of Business Administration. From there, I worked in health care administration for 25 years.
Still, I often found myself asking, “What’s next?” It wasn’t until I faced personal challenges that I moved beyond the idea of happiness being tied to future achievements. In those hard moments, I learned that I was already enough—and we all are.
That realization changed everything for me. I began focusing on what I was grateful for in the moment rather than what was missing. Relationships remain at the top of that list.
In 2014, I gained the confidence to leave health care for real estate. When we first moved to San Antonio in 2009, we worked with a real estate agent who didn’t fully represent our best interests. We lost money in the process, and it left a lasting impression. That experience showed me how important it is to have someone truly advocating for you—and it’s one of the reasons I’m so committed to doing things differently for my clients.
Real estate is also the perfect opportunity to embrace my passion for connecting others. My skills as a connector were first nurtured during my involvement with the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), where I built strong relationships among fellow entrepreneurs. But over time, my focus has shifted to deeper, ongoing collaboration through my work with Business Network International (BNI).
Through BNI, I’ve built a strong network of professionals—locally and across the country. What began as a small virtual mastermind group started by a California-based agent, quickly grew into national connections with agents. That has expanded into a much larger group with over 250 REALTORS® nationwide, and more recently, a Texas-based mastermind has been formed that I co-founded. I also belong to a military-focused group assisting veterans across the nation. These relationships aren’t just professional—they’re how I help clients navigate life-changing moves with confidence, no matter where they are.
That same network supports my clients here at home. When an inspection doesn’t go as planned, or when past clients need home services, I have trusted plumbers, HVAC techs, and contractors I can call immediately. My clients don’t have to worry about who to trust—I’ve already done that work by building years of reliable, collaborative partnerships. As I’ve learned time and time again, bringing the right people together can open doors, solve problems, and change lives.
I’ve also carried my healthcare experience into real estate, applying my background in in-home care to evaluate the safety and accessibility of seniors’ living situations. It is an honor to support seniors who want to age in place. It’s just one more way I get to care for people, not just through transactions, but through life.
It turns out that all the roads I’ve traveled—through healthcare, through hardship, through connection—have led me right here, doing what I love for people in need of guidance, advocacy, and care.
Whenever I am not working, my husband and I enjoy traveling, hiking, entertaining friends, and Reformer Pilates. Giving back is also a big part of my life. I support Chromosome 18, a San Antonio-based nonprofit focused on improving life for families affected by rare chromosome disorders, and volunteer regularly at their events. I also donate a portion of my commission to a charity of each client’s choice when they refer me to buyers and sellers, turning a meaningful milestone into something even more impactful.
When you work with me, my priority is to understand your real estate needs, your goals, and what you truly want out of life. From there, I’ll walk you through every option so you can make the best decision—even if that means choosing not to buy or sell.
With my unique background, I have a special understanding of those going through transitions, especially elderly homeowners and military families relocating from or to San Antonio. The details matter, so I pay attention to each one, including environmental safety, specific relocation needs, HOA bylaws, and city laws. I have extensive experience in estate sales, residential, commercial, and investment real estate (including Airbnb and long-term rentals). I am always learning the latest strategies and tools to help my clients stand out. As the years go by, I will continue to grow along with your real estate needs as your lifelong REALTOR®.
Sincerely,
